Shooting Hoops Review
I dont think this game is being understood by the other commenters. The ball seems to go randomly but that's Miscommunication in the tutorial imo. In dart mode. You can tap anywhere on the screen and itll shoot a pellet from the bb gun attached tp the ball controlling the balls movement. In target mode the velocity at which you hit the ball has no effect on ball speed. Only placement matters. Game does feel a little rushed thats why 4 stars. But its fun and visuals are nice.
Controls are fine, not random at all. I get how it works, the problem is, this is boring. This feels like the kind of games you saw on Android 1.6 like a decade ago, those first mobile touch games before people figured out how to make mobile games good. It's okay if you're looking to kill 3 minutes, but Netflix, in a paid service this is not going to cut it...
Fun concept. However ball goes the opposite way whenever you tap the screen. I.e. if its moving upwards when you tap the screen it'll slam the ball into the floor. Also it likes throwing the ball side to side much more than it does going upwards for height, making it very hard to score as the nets always above you. Its a shame that is has very poor controls. I understand there a skill curve but I have no patience and no interest in getting good at this game.
