It has been over a year and the connection issues still persist. I have max 5G signal and it will randomly disconnect. This is by far the worst optimized app I've ever seen in my life. Not only that there are many cards ruled incorrectly. There have been many scenarios where I should of been able to use a card but it wouldn't let me. There was no missed timing or any card played that would stop me from doing so. Konami doesn't care about this game. If they did they would take better care of it.
FIX YOUR GAME ALREADY!!! I have had so many crashes for no apparent reason while in ranked matches. I've been sitting there watching my opponents basically play solitaire to figure out a way to counter their board or strategy. But the game keeps crashing and I lose chances to win and earn rewards. Please just make it stop. It's been so frustrating to play this game as is. The crashes are so annoying.
While the game is poorly optimized, it is still engaging, fun, and allows you to truly experience Duel Monsters. The Solo mode does a great job of teaching or reteaching you the basics, and the plethora of different cards opens up thousands of different decks and game strategies! If you're not afraid of lagging (a lot), then this is a good pick for you!
