Usually low scores are because of too many ads but the real crime is taking this idle game and calling it a Tycoon game. Idle games want to be tycoon games but they aren't. You never lose idle games. There's no challenge. It's a cheap dopamine hit designed to sell you stuff. The art style is cute but I've seen it on another train game that also claims to be a tycoon game. TL;DR it's cute and the ads aren't the worst I've seen but still obnoxious. There's no challenge to the game at all. 2/5
I enjoyed this game years ago (on a different os I think) but hadn't thought about it in ages until it showed up on play pass. Still a charming, low stress, semi-zen kind of game. Excited to see all the maps and cars that have been added since I last played. The play pass version is generous with gem drops and the pricing of care packs/car bundles. Only downside is that train management can be a little clunky when you have many cars (maybe a toggle to hide in the sticker book?)
Could be a good game for some people. It's story driven but the player is free to decide where they are headed and what cargo to buy and sell. I had the play pass version. It was ad free for 3 days then today they start covering the train station with ads that look like out of place billboards. Growth is slow. Sometimes the game lags behind the touchscreen which can cause mis clicks and frustration. I'm moving on from this game although some people will enjoy. Reply to developer an ad is an ad
