Tales of the Mirror Review
I actually pre registered because the game looked amazing in the trailer. And so far it lives up! The art is beautiful- game play is interactive. You could play quite a few times over. It's challenging in the sense you are on a time limit and certain things said influence your interactions. You need to be careful of how you spend money as I have yet to find a way to make more. The con is I can see this getting see it getting frustrating because of certain challenges. But overall worth the cost!
There's something wrong with the chef's recipe. I don't know if the recipe's English translation is incorrect in some places, but I cannot progress past this even though I added the correct amount of each ingredient. Edit: I saw the developer's reply below explaining the issue! Finding out which objects make characters happy enough to talk is a little difficult (especially Guo Shou!!), but overall it is a interesting puzzle game.
I pre-registered the game because it looked intriguing and I liked its setting. As I played through the game it was fun and challenging. There are some frustration on saving your taels because I spend a lot within 3 days and I might get a bad end here in my route. I have many mistakes in my choices and playthrough but I can do over again to see what I missed.
