Mini TD 3: Easy Tower Defense Review
Got done within a day of playing. No rewards or achievements. 3 star on 100 levels. Wish there was more and maybe 1 more tower or something else. Level 98 was quite difficult and level 100 seemed way too easy. But a very decent game. The only things I didn't like was ads on reset or on completion, although I'm sure that's the majority of your income, and the fact the music can't be adjusted during the game. My Bluetooth resets the audio setting when it connects.
Like all games from this dev, it's good fun. The engine seems to have a lot of trouble keeping up when multiple turrets with multiple power-ups fire though. Frames drop very low when multiple rocket turrets are firing. If the rockets are powered up over 4 times, they either don't fire or they continuously fire onto one point whether or not there is a target there. After the first few levels, the more power-ups you place, the slower the game runs. Great game, needs a patch.
Great game. Seeing your creative process blossom through Mini TD games has been an amazing trip. A lot of people don't understand how tedious it is to develop a game by yourself, especially a TD one. I've been following Brackey's series on developing a TD Game in Unity 3D with C#. It's tough, and my game definitely won't be as polished as yours hahaha. I have/will be playing your games along with my development. I'm excited to see how you implement new Unity features in later games :) Cheers!
