HISTORY: Shows & Documentaries Reviews
My only positive thing to say here is that I can watch Oak Island. Outside of that this app is really bad. Freezing, crashing, runtime errors, sloppy UI. The worst offender is the ads. I understand that need to be there but they're every 5 minutes. It's ridiculous. And to make it worse, half the time when the ads finish the app bugs out and restarts them, when that happens you end up watching 6 minutes of ads to go back to watching 5 minutes of a show before the next ads. Totally ridiculous.
App is extremely buggy! Consistently gets hung up when the adds are supposed to play, frequently requiring me to restart the app and, at times, perform a complete delete and reinstall. Believe it nor not, the app sucks even more on our Samsung smart TV! I am extremely disappointed since there are several shows that I love to watch on the History Channel!
The rise and fall of the Roman Empire is not as complete as the book I read when I was young, but, it memory serves, what it does illustrate appears to match what I read so many years ago. Actually, I don't remember some of the generals and legion numbers or the queen in Britain and tactics in detail, or that tiberius attacked what is now Iraq, but remember in general the British and European campaigns. I getting another history of Rome book. I hope it is as good as the original,.
