Hero Adventure: Survivor RPG Tier List
To start off, I have had many hours of enjoyment from this game. I have not paid a dime and have gotten very very far. There are a lot of difficulty spikes, but you just grind a bit and you can level past them. My biggest complaint is that it is a power hog and when there are too many projectiles on screen it lags very hard. Otherwise there are no real issues. Be warned that they put pop up "deals" with the purchase right where your finger would naturally go to start playing again. Kinda scummy
Hit a difficulty spike right at level 12. Next area monsters one shot me no matter how much I upgrade. Also, monsters keep disappearing while I attack them and sometimes takes forever to spawn when I enter a room. I've had bosses spawn right on top of me. And lastly, ad rewards are broken. The ad plays, and then just black screen. Have to restart the app to fix it, and you lose the reward because of restarting.
It IS fun...until it's not. For awhile you can progress steadily if you play smart, but once you get to a certain point somewhere around level 12, enemies take forever to kill but kill you with One Single Hit! You'll be caught between enemies that are nearly Impossible and those that you kill with a single shot, which means you'll spend Endless Hours trying to strengthen your character enough to progress, only to die 100s of Times! It's Beyond Frustrating!
This game is awful & predatory, only gameplay is the publisher seeing how much money they can bilk you of. Ad free costs $16!! As soon as you get in the game, something feels wrong, & the feeling just gets worse & worse. The combat is slow like molasses & beyond repetitive/rudimentary, even for this genre. It was a grind getting to level 2. There's zero effort put into the stats & leveling or the combat or the game at all, only for the very specific & meticulous design to get into your wallet.
This game is a fine way to pass the time. The game play loop works for however long you want to play it and it doesnt leave any content that locked behind microtransactions. However a major problem ive had is that the gear system seems to be glitched to where i cant unequip, equip, upgrade or swap any of my equipment.
