This is the best mobile rpg of this style I've played. A true open world, diverse locations, nice dungeon design, good characters. Really the only gripe: I feel the companions and escorts die way too easy, so the paid companions feel like a waste of gold, and escort quests are kind of impossible if the npc gets hit once. Even on the lowest difficulty setting. I love the figure-it-out approach with no waypoints, but more detailed quest logs would be nice, or being able to ask npcs directions.
No microtransactions! No collecting res to build stuff! (you do pay for storage space for stuff that may be useless) Run into a problem? Save & exit and a game wiki is right there to tell you go for it, or try this and die horribly. You get a few full time helpers. You can pick their skill and trait progression to fill your weak spots in certain quests. I'm not fond of the controller, it's very iffy on my machine. (chromebook) But overall it's an excellent game when you get used to it.
Greetings adventure! If you're looking for an old school rpg this game is great. I've spent several hours playing and have enjoyed the game thus far. The free version doesn't take long to burn through and is frustrating that it is limited to a small part of the map and capped at lvl 8. The small price for opening up the full version is worth every penny. For the dev, I appreciate your work and look forward to expansions. Please do not add quest trackers. Searching for goals is half the fun!
