A Planet of Mine Review
Wonderful resource game. Lots of replayability, looks good, plays good. A really unique and fun game. But one issue: I think there was an update where the ai now makes a LOT of requests for resources. A bit too much. And sometimes early on, when I couldn't have the amount of resources they want. I would like to see the ai requests dialed back in frequency and quantity of the request.
While the bones of the game are very enjoyable overall, the many challenges that seemingly offer a lot of content either contain similar gameplay or an overly specific goal. The combat / planet destruction system isn't nearly fleshed out enough as it stands, and makes your goals of reaching a high ascension level feel a bit pointless. Still, overall I had fun colonizing planets and progressing through the trees.
This game has a very fun concept but there are several things holding it back. Firstly, the main part of the game (infinite mode) is locked behind a paywall. Secondly, after playing a while I've been disappointed in the combat; The combat is the most interesting aspect of the game yet it feels like you are punished every single time you try it. You either loose and suffer from a damaged or destroyed planet, or you tie and both of you loose an important planet, or you win and then you can't trade
