Dont get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY love this game. It is so addictive and relaxing. BUT the in-game resource spending amounts to upgrade your buildings and to research is absolutely ridiculous. If you don't like to grind on games this is definitely not the game for you. I really wish they would make it so much less expensive to upgrade and research.
Resource balance is ridiculous if you can even get them. Food is given too easily, gold is almost impossible to get unless you steal allies which cause drama and unwanted wars, and wood... getting wood is too much. The jumps in requirements is also ridiculous, teleporting isn't actually teleporting you have to march there, and then to research stuff you need ridiculous amounts of gold, did I mention how hard that is to get? Bad game, wouldn't recommend to anyone, I want my time back!
I was one of the first players to start a guild and play. Absolutely slow gameplay, terrible advancement. Barely any heroes or reason for playing. No special events. The guild system is very minimal and basic. Not many options socially or advancements for the guild either. It is a "log on for a few and collect" resources kind of game and immediately logged off. It had so much potential. I'd wait until another year goes by if at all to play. - I spent money and hours on this game I can't get back
