been using ubereats for a couple years now and I enjoy the service. out of the possible hundreds of orders, I've only had a handful of mistakes that were either full or partial refunded based on the situation. sometimes I just look at different restaurants menus to decide where I actually want to go before going out too. the deals can be really good sometimes and it's worth it to compare vs ordering from the restaurant directly.
The fees are very hidden, and when you try to filter anything, it doesn't apply the filter, so you're stuck searching through all of the options rather than the ones you wish to look at. It also still has some issues with how delivery works, especially for those who live in an apartment. Many drivers will still ask you your number and building even when you have it specified.
Support is terrible. One of my orders that was put as an add on with free delivery to another order but was canceled after waiting 30+ min. Still got charged despite being told it won't get charged and it messed up delivering for my first order. Try to get resolved by getting in touch with support but got the basic response of "We understand your frustration, will take your feedback and pass it along" mumbo jumbo. I can't even tell if it was an actual person talking to me.
