Torchlight: Infinite Tier List
Game is very easy to start off. But there are some issues. The gear system does not provide many noticeable differences from one piece to the next, rendering it almost pointless. Second, the talent point system is difficult to establish the benefits because the effects of each point spent are so minor. Lastly the gameplay is too easy and so very repetitive and I've found no valuable usage for the gear pickups considering 99/100 pieces are low quality and you can only reforge up to epic quality.
The game is quite convoluted. Too many facets, which definitely strays from the first two Torchlight games. It's a bit overwhelming and at times confusing. Still, I kept with it and am enjoying it a bit. EDIT: Some how, not sure, the main plot just disappeared. Very unsatisfactory conclusion?? Now I'm at the part where you play the same levels over and over to grind for loot, as well as some complex collection of items to unlock more farming. Got boring quick ... So I Uninstalled.
Played about as much as I could. High quality in many ways, but the player is immediately beset by seasons, limited time sales, battle passes, daily check ins, challenges, etc. It is quite fatiguing. Voice acting and storytelling seems sub par. Gameplay feels like it could be fun but felt shallow in the time that I played. I felt sort of disconnected from the game rapidly and lost interest about halfway through the second level. I just could not keep going.
