The app is pretty good. You can save your cart and easily search and filter to find products. The Thrive Market brand products are generally very good, and good prices on most products. Any time I've had an issue with something incorrect/damaged in my box, customer service immediately took care of it (without argument) and resolved the issue by mailing out a replacement or providing a refund. Sometimes the notification take you to the browser version rather than the app, which is annoying.
The ability to add items to my order when I realize I'm out and then those items staying in my cart until I'm I'm ready to check out is the best feature! I love the favorites feature as well. it makes it so easy to make a quick grocery order and place it within minutes without forgetting any items. Plus the prices are much cheaper than in the stores!
Might be priced competitively on somethings but it came out to almost $9/lb for chicken. The prices in my opinion weren't worth it. I wish they had a free trial period just to check out prices. Then getting your account canceled was a lot of trouble. You have to speak to someone and they beg to try to keep you. Like the prices are more expensive and I pay a subscription with shipping, not worth it.
Ended my 30 day trial today. I will be paying the annual fee and sticking with the service. Thrive is great, but the app leaves a lot to be desired. It locks up frequently. When I chatted with tech support, I could not exit the chat and it maintained a floating icon on my phone screen. I had to force close the app to get rid of it. Most annoying of all, the app does not support landscape mode, so I pretty much can't shop on my tablet. I've also been offered a number of expired coupons.
I prefer shopping on my computer, but the app is good too. I like this service. I can get healthy stuff for less, it's delivered, and I get free stuff with every order. There is a yearly subscription, but if you use this regularly, you save more that what the subscription costs. There us a good selection of items and you can sort by diet and other filters.
