Sword Chronicles: AWAKEN Review
This has become my most played game of the year! PROS: An excellent UI, fast and smooth gameplay, generous pull rates/pity system, great character design, beautiful skins, a refreshing mix of waifus AND husbandos, consistent content releases, a nice variety of events to keep things interesting and fresh, and it's the most F2P-friendly gacha game I've played. CONS: Many text errors, a somewhat boring (but essential) Story Mode, and a small player base. I never see ANY ads for this game! Why?!
I'm honestly having a lot of fun with this game. The graphics are nice, it runs smooth, and has a variety of likeable female AND male characters. It also has some quality of life features that most idle games should have like being able to swap team members at any time with them inheriting the previous character's level and gear. It also doesn't bombard you "deals" to try and get you to spend. First impressions are great!
Not gonna lie I've played many a gatcha/RPG game and this one right here is exactly what a game of that type should be, decent rates, enough to do(mind you I've been binging the last 6 hours at the time of this review), good animation, nice freebies, good animations, beautiful characters from lore I adore, solid systems, generic in the sense that the systems are similar but this game just feels right (at least for me)give it a try I say imo, only gripe is the long/hand hold feeling tutorials.
