Smashy Duo Tier List
Really fun simple game! Controls are easy and difficulty ramps up gradually through campaign mode. An abundance of characters has you going back for more. Two things I noticed when playing, you can touch both sides of screen when a ball in approaching which defeats the purpose of the game a bit. Second, the character slot can give you heroes you already won even after your "Free Spin" aka - ad. Would suggest fixing these in the next patch.
Top notch game. I especially liked the Postknight tribute with the same music as well as different balls for each duo. A few suggestions though: you could improve the pause screen by adding a menu button and a preview of the missions. Also, it would be nice to be able to skip the intros in story mode. It gets really annoying when you're stuck on a level and you're forced to read through the dialogues all over again. There could be unique skills for each duo too to make it more interesting.
Although it is quite hard to provide depth to an arcade game, Smashy Duo provides just the right amount of challenge for a casual time-waster. One weak point in the game's monetization model are the mandatory advertisements every 5 games. However, this can be easily overlooked by the fact that this is a very light game and can simply be closed before the inevitable ad.
