Sea of Conquest: Pirate War Codes Review
I like the music, art, ship customization, and exploration. But the PVP is incredibly toxic. As a new player, I was constantly getting sunk. Most war games have some kind of protection for newbies, but I didn't notice anything like that for this game. To their credit, it seems the mods to take toxic behaviors seriously when reported.
Pros - Interactive gameplay with environment, heroes, ships, missions - Detailed heroes, abilities, ships with different parts and designs - Beautiful game design from each season - Constantly developing story with the heroes - Always something to do Cons - Grind heavy for rewards - Pay to win. SO many players drop mad money just to win - The tool to recruit new heroes feels rigged: use item (conch) one time, increase chance of getting legendary hero 1%, goes up to 80%~ before getting one???
(LVL 22 PLAYER REVIEW) I've been playing for 2 months now. Very engaging game with a lot to do every day that isn't always necessary, so you can accomplish what you want and run an auto trade when your done. I've spent $11, that's it. Yes others have spent way more and they are stronger, but even if you're hit, it's not much of a loss. Can't understand why people play a pirate game and expect others to be peaceful. Only frustrating thing is season 2 gate keeping for gem advancements.
