The game could have potential, but it's too buggy for me, which is crazy because there was just a long maintenance, and now there's more bugs than before, which doesn't make sense to me. There are a lot of different UIs/interfaces that I go to to try and claim stuff or even just upgrade the characters and it'll be half blank or when I try to click on things nothing happens, I can't even get back to the main areas like the town or wilderness. I'm forced to restart my app every time.
It was enjoyable game and I've definitely played it before. Yet now it doesn't save any of my progress and whenever I try to change accounts to try and figure out where all my data went makes me go through the unskippable tutorial every single time. I do not understand why game companies in this day and age still do unskippable tutorials nobody likes them.
Madtale is an AFK Arena clone that does pretty well at holding its own. If you're familiar with Arena you'll feel well at home with this one. The art is wonderful, the animations are smooth and fun to watch and for a little added extra, it's voice acted. Although I don't know that it's entirely necessary. I find it's biggest draw back (for a native English speaker) is that the dialogue doesn't make a lot of sense. More support for the English version would have gotten it 4 stars. Still fun.
