Life of Mellow Tier List
Fun little time killer, but not without its flaws. I like the art style and the gameplay for the most part, but the base game is too limiting and, after reading some other reviews, the dlc doesn't seem worth the cost. I like how video ads are optional, but I wish the banner ads defaulted to being muted. My biggest complaint however is the pandemic system. I've had many runs wiped because of how many of my people were killed by illness, even with the herbalist shop. Fun at first but a chore later
Very cute game, though after a while, you kinda just get stuck unless you buy the dlc. I have not bought it due to reading other reviews, seems like the developers need to add more missions or something to extend the life of the game. I haven't had any glitches. However, I am stuck after completing all the items that were available for the free version.
The experience is far too short-lived. For example, the free version allows for 7 buildings. After your first 9-ish mallows, the game becomes more like nanny work. While the DLC does add 7 more options, the result is still just about the same. I mean, what is the point of queuing required items if autoquing for resource gathering exists? Anyhow, the ads are problematic through both the free and purchased products.
