Langrisser Review
Played since release. Really good early progression with tutorials. The game is an example of how more gameplay elements do not make better gameplay: upgrades for characters, for weapons, for combat units, for xp, etc., with each one needing a unique currency that comes from a separate arena event. Level progression does not match enemy progression. I hit a wall around lv. 22, where I have been stalled for several days, just doing event arenas to get upgrade materials. Feel uninstall coming on.
Edit: Outstanding effort on the developers part to fix the issues bothering most of the players. Chat is off, compensation for pre-reg confusion. •Can't turn off chat which is in the center of your screen. It's overwhelming, distracting and makes it very hard to press certain buttons. •No way to reroll even though the game heavily relies on perfect character symmetry. •Pre-registration rewards were falsely advertised. Adding to the hype and ultimately disappointing the fans.
Not the best at all, not the worst, however the fact its extremely hard to progress without hard cash kills this game. If I could rate it 2.5 stars on bar I would. I recommend you guys play Epic Seven instead where you have a chance of progressing and having more fun, also a better story and soundtrack overall. Langrisser right now is very unbalanced because the missions are just extremely rough to do and getting units/gear is no easy task. Good luck to those who join.
