I used to play this game all the time, and I LOVED the armor fusion system! However, after returning to the game, I'm very disappointed that the fusion system has become irrational and buggy. Not only is the armor from a fusion totally random, and have nothing to do with the elements used to create it, but when I combine silver-tier single-element armors, I don't even get a dual-element armor! They don't even combine, it just destroys one of them! Bad, bad, bad! Despite these issues, I still find myself drawn back to the game because of its engaging gameplay and compelling theme of knights and dragons.
I've been playing since before pets and shadowforged were a thing. Yet somehow, I've never been able to complete a fusion tree event, never gotten anything useful from step chests, and as someone who doesn't waste money on micro-transactions, this game has been looking very PTW lately. I stopped playing for a while, and came back about six months later just to find that almost nothing changed. Releasing new, more powerful dragonforged armors is not the same as giving us the ones from five seasons ago we spent way too many gems on. All things considered, it's a great game, it's just becoming too much grinding for too little payoff. Despite these frustrations, the core concept of battling with knights and dragons remains compelling, keeping players engaged in the world of the game.
