Loved this game when I was younger thought I'd play it again now when I saw an ad for it but unfortunately that's now the problem... Ads! There's way too many of them you can't play for more than 20 seconds without an ad (yes I timed it.) It's ridiculous. I think it's scummy to place ads so aggressively to force users to pay for no ads. I get that apps need ads to be profitable but not at that density. Be better.
Insane amount of ads and monetization. Basically, if you're not willing to spend real money on the game, don't bother installing it, it's pretty much unplayable. Random ads out of nowhere, everything locked behind real money or ads (you need to buy blood to unlock it...), it's crazy. More than 70% of the game is locked behind money and ads. I get that you want to make money, but this is just greedy...
I recently redownloaded this game and it's pretty good. Way back when I first downloaded this game I absolutely loved it. And it really irritated me to see that they corrupted it with ads every 20 seconds. So I'm really glad to see that they fixed that. And I really like to use all the different weapons/concoctions to kick buddy with. And love that I don't HAVE to watch an ad everytime I kill him,which is about every 10 seconds. There are lots of things to that could be fixed but it's good!👍
This game WAS pretty amazing, playing as a kid and watching YouTube videos on the game every day, but now when I go back to it, it doesn't feel the same. Ads are way too reoccurring after doing each task, and it crashes very often. The cost of some items in the game are very unnecessary, and there are a variety of items only unlockable with payment, which is kind of annoying. Nevertheless, this game was great until big issues starting rampaging it's reputation.
I downloaded the game for me and my daughter. The graphics are nice and the Buddy is funny. The ads when the internet is on are incessant, they keep coming. I try to keep it on so we can get the free gold after every 4 minutes of play but the ads can be frustrating, especially for a 4 year old. Everything costs quite a bit so it takes a while to unlock things which is why I have it downloaded on 3 devices. Only problem is that it doesn't always let me save my progress on Google play or it will crash while trying to save. It's a good game mostly. I'd never pay for it but it's nice to have.
