Hexapolis: Civilization wars Codes Review

Pretty good at first, but there's no real strategy. Instead of playing smarter the ai becomes more difficult just by starting out with more powerful units. By playing smartly you can get so far and then you hit a wall where no matter how adept you are tactically the ai will steam roll you with powerful units. A fun game to start but once you hit the wall it's annoying. Don't mind being outplayed but it's rather cheap to lose just because the other side is given more $ and roided out heroes.

great game, I pair it with polytopia when I get sick of the ad farm or am playing offline, but at least the ads are a choice and for a decent doubling of rewards and off field build up, not forced. I am kinda sad that my profile reset, but it's been so long since I played last that I guess I'll just restart. no biggie since its not like I would ever pay for anything in a phone game. especially some of the redonkulusly expensive packs...

The gameplay itself is actually really fun. The biggest problem is the amount of ads is overwhelming. The chest mechanic is very obviously monetized which doesn't allow you to play 1 or 2 games at a time. Because of this I am currently looking for a similar game to replace this. Too bad because it has good gameplay, but the in your face nature is a bit over the top.
