Guidus : Pixel Roguelike RPG Review
It's great but I've had a lot of issues with both lagging and crashing. Sometimes it will lag and lock me in place where I can't move or can't stop moving in the direction of the arrow I pressed, and the game will just crash at random I could be in the middle of a dungeon raid or even just opening the game and it just crashes, pretty pesky.
I enjoy this rougelike, love the art even though sprites could be slightly higher resolution. My current problem are; not enough explanation on what things are without a wiki page, optimization of game occasionally framerate drops, sound is too quiet while ads too loud, out of sync if using Bluetooth earbuds, ads never load or say not ready. *Most recent update made it worse for my Pixel 5 phone.*
Surprisingly good, non-exploitative fun. There are many heroes to unlock (via random selection), but they all have good variety and surprising depth. All of them can be unlocked with gold, which you can get in a few runs, or an ad (8 hour cooldown.) The gameplay is simple and satisfying. Swipe or tap to move and attack, hold to use special skills. You don't need to unlock anything to beat the game - although later runs are easier with Stat boosts. Skill-based more than luck or money-based.
