Cheating in GTA: Chinatown Wars can provide players with an edge, making the game more exciting. But using cheat codes should be done responsibly to avoid diminishing the overall gameplay experience. With the right codes, players can access weapons, vehicles, and other useful resources that can help them progress through the game more efficiently. However, relying too heavily on cheats can take away from the challenge and satisfaction of completing missions the traditional way. One of my favorite gta games, great port with responsive controls. Would be 5 star but there's a bug where you are not able to use the handbrake. You're supposed to slide your finger from the gas to brake button to initiate the handbrake but it only uses the regular brake removing the ability to drift corners. This isn't necessary to complete the game but it is something I enjoy doing for fun so hope to see that fixed.
I was tempted to rate 3 stars on this port. As I had it on the original DS and loved it and had a fairly decent amount of progress but rage quit this port several times. Mostly due to terrible driving controls. Which seems to be the biggest complaint. Thank God I found an option for analog steering in the settings. It replaced the buttons with the analog stick. Now steering is much better, faster, and more responsive. Now I feel like I should be able to make up my previous progress quicker.
The game does not run on my Galaxy S21 phone, but after installing it on my Samsung tablet I love it. I've been nostalgic for that GTA 2 vibe and this game does a good job of bringing that game play back to life. I also realized that playing it on a phone screen would be futile anyway. You can't see enough of the road while driving to successfully maneuver through town. Responsiveness to movement on foot or behind the wheel keep it from being a 5 star game, but it's still fun.
