Frenetic Dungeon: RPG Codes Review

Almost a good game. 1. Improve the UI, I should be able to see four actions at a time, not 1.5 It makes larger action lists a pain. 2. Make icons clickable with tooltips 3. Make a menu screen so we can view all our stuff outside of the game screen it happens to appear on, like spells we know 4. Make a cheap spell, like a force bolt that doesn't require gems to cast. 5. From that menu screen, I should be able to give up and restart.

Very fun game tbh. The only gripe that I have with it is the complete lack of music when actually playing. There's only music in the main menu, which you only hear for a second or two before you load in. With adhd I can't bring myself to keep playing when all I hear is the sound effects rattling around in my brain every time I do something. It gets uninteresting fast. I notice the exact moment when the sfx cuts off, which I fixate on instead of the game. It should be music instead of poor sfx.

Although a fun game the mechanics are not clear. I still have questions I can't find answers for in the game, and while I could look online I think that in itself reflects negligence on the care put into explaining everything. If it impacts the story somehow, that would make sense. But the lack of required information to play effectively just makes the game not as fun.
