Fake Future Codes Review

The soundtrack is solid, the artstyle unique and matching the atmosphere, and the premise sounds decent enough. However, the story is hard to follow, and the tasks a bit boring. The intro made it seem like it would be a sidescroller game, but then it suddenly became a construction management game, with nothing innovative about it. Perhaps if I had kept playing, the gameplay would be diversified, but it got incredibly boring, so I didn't feel incentivised to unlock more areas.

Im still on the fence with this game. For one, the sheer ammount of menus and options is overwhelming to say the least. The tutorial really doesnt explain gameplay. Also to have a game on launch seeing that in game store pop up with the usual $0.99-$79.99 packs is really a put off. Overall im still "feeling" the game out. The artstyle def is a plus, and as a new player I hope to be "on level with other players". EDIT IDK what im doing really, but I like it. 4 stars.

A very very cool game if you have the time to explore. I don't feel this game is very intuitive as far as tutorial options or any explanation as to what's going on. Maybe I missed it on accident, I just feel very lost. Fantastic style, cool themes and subjects, generally fun play, you just have to have the time to sort through all the content. It's just jarring at first
