I love Door dash because of the variety of stores and restaurants. However the fees and taxes are ridiculous, isn't the purpose of the dash pass to save. You have to spend money to save money.I don't particularly like having to buy unnecessary items to save. You can't even tip because of the fees and prices. Seems like the taxes get higher when you try an lessen your purchase to the minimum fee to keep from going over.
I have placed multiple orders and everytime something is missing. I paid for the item and when I contact customer service, they only offer a partial refund. Also the app currently will not load and only says launching. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, so now I can't even access my "partial credits" This makes for a poor user experience, especially after paying fees, tipping the driver, and paying extra just bc I ordered it from the app and not in person. Way to squeeze every last penny.
pretty good for the most part. there has been quite a few times though that the restaurant has messed up the order and either gotten the order completely wrong, or they forgot to include items that were paid for. I think there needs to be a check out system where the Door dash driver checks the order with the restaurant in person, to make sure everything is correct and then it is confirmed on the app that the order is correct. this would be an AMAZING addition to the whole process!
