Disney Speedstorm Codes review
I recently tried out the Disney Speedstorm game on my Samsung Galaxy Ultra 24, and I have to say, I was blown away by the buttery smooth framerate and near-instant loading times. One feature that stood out to me was how easy it was to link my account, especially to my PlayStation console. Being able to plug a controller into my phone and play without touch controls seemed like a dream come true, until I encountered some issues. Unfortunately, the plugged-in controller didn't work as well as expected, with unresponsive triggers and right thumbstick. Despite this setback, the overall experience was still enjoyable.
My initial impressions of Disney Speedstorm were positive, as the game ran surprisingly well on my phone. The seamless linking of my account to my PlayStation account saved me the hassle of starting from scratch. Although the game still featured microtransactions and other typical features found in console versions, it didn't bother me much, given my past experience with such games. As someone who invested in a founder's pack at launch, I found this mobile version to be a decent alternative for those without a console. If any significant changes occur, I'll be sure to update my review, but for now, I find it quite promising.
While the gameplay of Disney Speedstorm is smooth and easy to grasp, the heavy emphasis on microtransactions is hard to overlook. Unlocking characters is just the beginning, as players then need shards to upgrade them, which can be bypassed by paying. This payment model extends to obtaining fragments for enhancements, creating a cycle of constant purchasing to progress. Furthermore, unlocking customizations adds another layer of complexity and expenditure. The game's structure essentially necessitates players to unlock and upgrade multiple branches of a character to optimize their racing experience, making it a challenge to progress without financial investment.
