The app has 80% of the features you could want but the user experience is quite bad (setting custom temperatures is overly complex, no early warning alarm, graphs are in a weird spot). They could take some advice on features and UI from competitors like The MeatStick and other wireless thermometer companies. On top of everything else the app has a few bugs (alarm interval selector doesn't work properly, feedback button doesn't work, graphs reset). I bought the IBT-6XS, it will do for the price.
It's great. Works very well. I wish I could zoom in and out on the graph so I can actually read it. The app will randomly restart or disconnect. Which makes the graph start over when it reconnects. It's not the bluetooth connection that's failing but the app itself. Especially if you are using your device for more than just that one app. It would be cool to have a temp display in the notification bar while the app is running in the background.
This app works really good. It could be slightly more intuitive. I'm not sure how to delete custom cooking ranges after creating them. Not a huge deal and I'm sure there's a way. One other thing I'd like the developers to add is a dark mode. I use my phone in dark mode all the time and I like when my apps can match that. Other than that this works great.
