If I go into the AZ app & into my account to look at previous purchases and click on an item, the app never loads the product / info on the purchases. It's totally frustrating as a longtime customer. Please fix this issue. Also, why doesn't AutoZone do a better job at keeping up with prices, i.e., Antifreeze, in a line with other local sellers' prices who tend to sell @ a lower price than AZ. My experience with the application is great, but: Their Duralast brand is a hit or miss. A miss not once but like 5 times I have tried (Gold alternator with intermittent messages not charging, starter that almost started a fire in the car as soon I connected the battery, suspension parts with too short studs). The rewards program counts only for a reward for each transaction $20 or more, but you loose the more (Advance Auto Parts is a 10% given in $5 coupons for every $50 accumulated).
App is good for a basic reference of what you need. Pro's: can save all your vehicles and scan you loyalty card right on your phone. Check pricing, store inventory, parts info, basic repair guide. Con's: glitchy at times, you really have to walk in the store to find vehicle specific parts, this is just a guideline. SEARCH is not friendly, you better use minimal key words and know exactly what you are looking for. Perfect for shade tree mechanics.
