Alien Shooter TD Review
Having enjoyed the Alien Shooter series, and enjoy a decent Tower Defense, this is great. The graphics are just like AS2/ASV, and the UI is clean. The only issue, so far, is that panning can select things and screw up your soldiers' targeting, on tap-release, but that's just a minor issue. So far, ads haven't plagued my screen, which always makes everything far more enjoyable.
Game play is fine and fun enough. But the advancement makes zero sense. You have to improve your troops in order to be successful and/or equip better gear. Yet the cost of the troops goes up and quickly makes it so you can't do the lower level missions in hard (because the slightly improved unit costs more than starting money). It's a seriously stupid mechanic.
The game is unique! One of the hard TD Game ive played., because except for the Troops/Tower, you will also save & buy for the ammunition of your tower. It's just sad because it only has 40 levels and there is no source of crystals when the missions are completed. Or just buy on the store. 😓
