Yokai Dungeon: Monster Games Review
Yokai Dungeon is an action game which uses cultural aesthetics. The traditional Japanese environment / music is appealing, but not relevant to the action. Yokai look and act somewhat unique, but are defeated the same: pushing blocks to squish them. Still, the action can be intense. Characters have one chance to pass the dungeons and beat the final boss. Something cool are the multiple characters with various stats, unlocked using coins found in dungeons. As a whole, it looks fun and simple. 5/5.
it's fun, and the music is great! to put it simply, it's a good nuetronized experience. but not perfect or anything. sometimes the main level theme becomes repetitive, and sometimes the enemies spawn in annoying places.this is a realy cool game based off of zelda which also has yokai. that's a great concept! 8.2/10
I would give this a 4/5 cause it's pretty good. You can buy all the characters with your hard work instead of money so that's one thing I really like! =D The frustration of loosing and wanting to play again from the start is quite nice even tho might be a little boring ;-; but in the end when you win its all worth it!!! It's kind of nice that it explains a little about Japanese culture aswell like the miths in general haha pretty fun :)
