The Doomsland: Survivors Review
Automatic 2 stars for not being able to continue a current round. I end up getting great abilities to help me win. But then I have to check a work e-mail or look something up and the game just ends the round AND game. Then forces me to restart both the game and the round. Unacceptable in 2023. Otherwise, it's a decent game. The difficulty curve is way too high in my opinion. But continuous play makes you play better and choose the right skills.
The game is fun. The art feel vintage. But, I hope it has background stories (such a comic style animation) for every new location opened. And, with horizontal screen, it feels like right thumb idle all the time. Hope dev. Consider to add "Heroes Character" with different skills so game played with both thumb used. (Or maybe in The Doomsland Survivors 2)
great game until stage 6. at the first boss, when you kill it, it doesn't continue the rounds. you're just stuck in the boss arena and have to exit out to the main menu to leave
