Air Fleet Command : WW2 Codes Review

Air Fleet Command: WW2 is undoubtedly one of the standout games I've encountered on mobile platforms. When I first dived into this thrilling aviation strategy game, I was immediately captivated by the seamless gameplay and rich graphics that brought the World War II air battles to life. However, a significant time has passed since I penned my original review, and I must admit that the game's abandonment over the past six years has taken a toll. As modern devices and operating systems emerged, players have increasingly faced issues, particularly with loading times. What could once be an engaging experience now sees players waiting ten to twenty minutes, or sometimes even longer, to enter the game. When it does load, the fun begins, but the long waiting periods have dampened the overall excitement.

Another pressing issue stemming from the game's abandonment is the failure of the cloud-saving feature. This means that if you decide to uninstall the game or if you upgrade to a new device, you are left with the bitter reality of losing all your progress. As a player who invested significant time building my fleet, it’s frustrating to think that all of that could potentially vanish with an unintentional tap. Additionally, some UI elements have not aged well; certain tabs are no longer aligned properly on newer screens, making it difficult to navigate and find important icons. I would love to see improvements in these areas to ensure that the game can provide the enjoyable experience it originally promised, as the heartfelt enthusiasm from the player community has largely been overlooked in recent years.

While I appreciate the core gameplay mechanics and the strategic elements Air Fleet Command offers, there are several enhancements that could elevate the experience. For instance, it would be immensely satisfying to see bombers equipped with additional machine guns—around four to five—providing a more realistic combat experience. Also, offering players free camouflage upgrades during bomber and fighter enhancements would add a layer of personalization. Furthermore, introducing a joystick control option for maneuvering planes, including fighters, could transform the gameplay, making it even more engaging. On top of these suggestions, addressing minor issues like the ability to rotate the screen and refining the grammar in the game could make a world of difference. Even as I rate it four stars, I can’t help but wish for these improvements; they would not just retain existing players, but also attract newcomers, breathing new life into this cherished game.
