Sky On Fire : 1940 Review
What a great game! The gyro is a little wonky, but other than that it is amazing! Graphics are detailed down to the casings. Some people are saying it needs a tutorial, but 6-12 min of experimenting and I figured out the basic controls. It would be nice if a part of France was added to the map with an airfield so that the German aircraft can take off on missions. Please, make it so that when you bomb the AI will also drop bombs.
This game is significantly better now than the last time I played. The shaking is easier to manage, over G-ing the aircraft is more difficult and the graphics and frame rate are smooth and consistent. I only gave it 4 stars because it still needs a lot. The double tap feature is very helpful to not crash, but it would be nice if you could double tap again to follow the enemy aircraft. More missions. And also the yaw slider is to sensitive and doesn't really serve a purpose. Great game, though.
Thank you for responding nicely dev. Appreciate you. Controls are bouncy and are not true to the gyroscope, or phone/ctl surfaces. It makes it difficult to aim, and difficult to maneuver properly. Fe: When I tilt phone briefly from straight, then back to me a bit, the plane control surfaces are delayed, or bounce into place instead of following my tilt gestures. PLEASE take another look at controls. Also a safe landing at an airstrip SHOULD=⛽+ammo, also repair? More plane details/stats in menus.
