Alchademy Tier List
Combinations start taking about a minute to complete once you're done with the tutorial (unless you spend ~currency~ of course). I don't find much draw to a game about combining things that makes you wait that long to combine things. Combinations can also fail, which is only an issue because they take so much time to complete. Graphics are nice enough.
My favorite part about this game is the artwork. I love the look of each of the characters and all the decor. The characters say funny things and the descriptions of the creations are awesome. I wish there were more elements to the game for I find myself just waiting the whole time. Maybe multiple caldrons at once? Mini games to go out and collect ingredients? Super cute graphics. I love the alchemy aspect of the game. However, the wait time for each individual combination makes the player lose interest quickly. It feels like something else should be happening to keep the player engaged or perhaps the wait time for each ingredient shouldn't be so long. Very lovely concept though and hope to see more from this developer.
A run of the mill waiting game that could use a few tweaks. You start with 3 ingredients and can make more of them through alchemy. If you make a combination that doesn't result in anything, you get a failed result immediately. If it's a good combination, you wait. The wait time increases with every successful combination. Eventually, by design you spend more time outside of the game waiting for mixes to finish than you do actually playing. Too many ads. Not bad, but there's better out there.
Just unlocked every creation. This game is decent for what it is, but I wouldn't recommend it. There is a compelling quality to it, and it has a great ambience, but no depth. Once you figure out the method, it's ultimately just a spreadsheet of cool little drawings. The alchemists are the only animated art, and that's putting it generously. The real game is avoiding the insane amount of ads. It's not bad, but there are better diversions.
