Could have been a great game if it's not for the poor energy system and hidden gotchas when playing the game. Everything costs way too much energy to progress. They keep talking about how merging 5 is better than 3, but makes it extremely easy to mistakenly merge 3, which will be very costly for higher level items. It is also very hard to arrange items on the board. It feels like this is just a cash grab rather than something that tries to be enjoyable.
Very Disappointing Many free-to-play games allow for you to keep playing for 20-30 min at a time before you run out of tokens/energy/play time without needing to pay. I spent a few bucks to build my gameplay and to keep enjoying the game, but my purchase of $2.99 only bought me a few more minutes of energy/game play/world building. This was disappointing. Once this ran out, only in the course of less than 10 minutes, I was urged to buy more.
Graphics are kinda nice , mixed feelings about character design but over all the graphics aren't bad. As some one who has played a lot of merge games , the tutorial was very annoying. Too much hand holding / telling the player what to do. Instead of assuming the player is new to merge games , there should be an option to skip the tutorial and just be given basic gist of the story from the start. Wish I could post more but word limit. 🙄😕
