The mobile app can not compete with the functionality of a proper computer setup and launcher/runelite, but this app is polished and functions well as a substitute on the go. Some xp grinds are even more efficient on mobile. On a Galaxy S21, the game is very crisp and fluid with high FPS and no stuttering. Sometimes, the game does not register clicks properly, and that can be a nuisance, but it's not a game breaking experience. Overall, it is a fair substitute if you don't have access to a PC.
Absolutely nostalgic game that still keeps me reeled in after all these years. Simple UI on both mobile and pc. You need a guide for most of the quests, especially for clues if you don't want to waste time trying to solve them. Overall i enjoy the game. Sure it's a grind but playing this on pc while watching yt makes the time pass by faster. Enjoyable experience for me.
Honestly, been ayong this game on and off since early 2000s. It's one of those games that I never actually quit. Always find myself, at some point, logging back in and playing. I find it hard to recommend to new players but if you can get past the old style graphics and actually enjoy click based games that require time and a lot of grind/effort. Then try it out. Plus the lore itself is actually quite interesting if you put in the time to learn it. This game will also make you hate it.
Love OSRS , and the fact that its mobile. It has its limitations, though. I cant play this game on this platform seriously with a non-customizable UI, and hit-or-miss "tap" registration. I find myself more often than not tapping through enemies to walk on them rather than attacking them, a prayer failing to activate when i tap on it, or opening the wrong tab at a cruicial moment. Hopefully these problems can be addressed with an innovative approach to cultivate a better gaming experience.
I started playing on mobile a couple years back when i learned there was an app since my laptop wasn't powerful enough. Having played across three devices, two accounts, and a few years of off and on play, i have to say the mobile app is my preference now. It's easier on my hands, smoother to play, and very rarely glitches, and those few times it has have been on the server side. Great app, great support, easy to use, and compatible with every phone and tablet i've had so far.
