Neogenesis – Auto Combat TCG Tier List
The battle system is fun and for it just being released it's good enough to be worth playing everyday. I'm only a few days in, but I've generated enough resources being F2P to rank up a few times in the duel system. My problem is that when I upgrade cards up to a certain level they disappear from my collection. I'd give it a better rating if not for this issue. (Edit: The issue was resolved. I got my cards back so giving the 4 stars I believe this game deserves.)
The most overpriced, not f2p friendly game I've ever had the misfortune of downloading. Almost all progression resources are locked behind a pay wall, a minimum of 3 battle passes at all times. Absolutely abysmal pull rates, unless you plan on spending money from day one, and probably everyday after that, id avoid this game like the plauge. This is one of those situations I'd give a 0 if it was an option. Unless the entire game sees changes it's just not worth your time.
I was weary when I read the reviews and saw the rating, but after playing some, I really don't understand why people have given the game such poor reviews. The tutorial definitely needs to be a bit more indepth and the game has a few visual bugs I've experienced, but overall, it's a really solid game.
4 different battle passes, massive lootboxes and NFT's... It's such a shame though because it's actually really good but i can't see this game thriving at all. It's designed around milking a handfull of whales. I would definitely spend money on a game like this but with a monetization model like this it deserves to die out asap.
I'm usually fairly open to F2P games. I don't mind spending on something I enjoy and devs deserve dollars, but this game basically gives you no way to progress without spending. You can't even evaluate if it's something you want to spend money on, defeating the whole point of F2P.
