This situation reflects poorly on MyWorld, which fails to adequately inform its users about necessary actions, leading to loss of funds that, quite frankly, should be accessible at any time.
My frustrations only multiplied as I delved deeper into the app’s functionality and lack of effective customer support. After consistently using MyWorld for my daily purchases over the last four and a half years, my experiences had generally been positive until now. With the constant advancements, like the Scan&Go feature, saving money seemed straightforward. Nevertheless, I have come to realize that many listed places provide little to no cashback, while those that do require cumbersome vouchers, leading to inflated shopping costs. Furthermore, technical glitches, such as app crashes, have rendered the platform practically unusable at times, resulting in missed opportunities for cashback. I find it troubling that after numerous emails regarding these issues—each met with promises of resolution—my concerns remain unaddressed, and my cashback from various transactions remains uncredited.
Moreover, the registration process has proven to be a frustrating barrier, as my attempts to sign up have been met with rejection despite my long-standing phone number being perfectly valid. The perpetual notifications about entering a "valid mobile number" seem nonsensical and have added to my discouragement with the app. Each attempt to resolve these issues feels futile, as the promised prompt responses are anything but. After months of waiting since December 2022 for due credits, my faith in MyWorld dwindles with each passing day, leaving a bitter taste. If this platform and its customer service continue on this path, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to others. I hope to see some genuine improvements in service and functionality; otherwise, it might be time to withdraw my remaining balance and seek alternatives, as I suspect MyWorld might be headed down a precarious road.
