Soul Gate : io Action RPG Review
Lots of fun BUT.... Get rid of the border. It's annoying and no other game likes this exclusively has it. Some have it for certain levels, but even then, they're building, guard rails or fences. So they good better. Add option to see ALL stats combined on the character. Terrible to not have one Fix the monster textures. The heroes look clean, so why to the monsters look like trash? Language translation is poor. Add option to break down gear for the right elements
Honestly, kinda liked it, for the first few hours, but after dying repeatedly because the borders rapidly change leaving you outside the "safe zone" MULTIPLE times absolutely DONE. I'm not gonna play a game, where each level takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, only to die at the 13 minute mark because of some gimmicky mechanic the developers thought it would be funny to implement. Especially after painstakingly trying to pick the right synergies. Plus very predatory microtransactions.
Some of the translation is off/unfinished. You can update the specs to be Hi resolution, but the monsters are really lacking in hi res aka no reason to make the switch. Other than these two main things, the game isnt bad. I do like the different people you can have as party members (brings something fresh to the auto-shooters ganre). The music is also pretty good. The game is rough around the edges, but has promise.
