Magic: Puzzle Quest Tier List
It used to be such a fun game, but no more! I have been playing this game for yeras ( maybe 8 or more), and lately, it is an impossible game to play. The AI ( you are led to believe it is someone who plays against you) beats you in like five rounds, and more often than not, you don't even get a chance to play more than one or two rounds. The AI takes control of the game and continues non-stop loop game until you either die from it or from boredom. I gave it two as appreciation for the art.
Dumb AF to lose pvp battles due to the board shuffling and setting up combos for my opponent. On top of that packs are 5$ for like literally 3 cards. If you like puzzle quest , play that. If you like magic , play arena... But this game is not for fans of one or the other and you'd really have to love puzzle quest to let all the negatives slide by.
PROS: It takes the gem matching concept to a new level. The game is much more interesting and adds a lot of depth. Also, the ads are only by choice. CONS: PvP is awful. It's terribly unbalanced. The bottomless deck makes many cards useless, adds unnecessary infinite combos, and often result in hour long games. The "rank" system is poorly designed. A single missed objective can take away all of your ranked rewards. Update: The bugs are getting ridiculous. Can't predict if cards will work or not.
