Magic: Puzzle Quest is a colorful puzzle game with elements of role-playing and collectible card games. Gather a team of the strongest heroes, make deadly magic spells and create your own powerful boosters. Move the magic stones of mana so that they form a row of three or more elements and release the power of deadly spells. Fight against numerous powerful opponents, collect a collection of the strongest cards and make your way to the top of the world ranking. The game received original gameplay, an exciting multiplayer mode and a huge selection of characters.

Magic: Puzzle Quest Tier List
Repetitive events, unbalanced, pay-to-win, and often just not fun to play. Lack of variety, as you see the same characters and same decks often can lead to boring and frustrating matches. While the game has always been unbalanced after the first year, the game was in a better state. Updated score: constant crashes, can't even log in for more than 5 seconds.
Game is barely stable as it constantly crashes or freezes mid match even with all the animations turned off. Developer is more concerned with pushing out new sets and not addressing problems that have been plaguing the game for years. Once they actually start fixing issues I'll raise the score, but if customer support is any indication I won't have to worry about it.
The gameplay is good. When new sets come out there are usually some bugs, but they're good about fixing the bugs that have been reported. The game could use a better tutorial. It covers the basics and you figure out the rest as you play. You can definitely play for free but if you want a good collection of cards you'll need to stick with playing the game regularly for a couple of years. You're never required to watch ads but can watch some optionally for a bonus.
