Ordering from the IGP app has been an experience laden with frustrations and disappointments. My recent attempt to send a bouquet and cake combo to a friend perfectly encapsulates the myriad issues with their service. While the selection of flowers was impressive, and the prices were reasonable, the delivery process left much to be desired. Despite opting for speed delivery, the bouquet and cake arrived late. This delay, though we can chalk it up to Mumbai's notorious traffic, was exacerbated by the lack of real-time tracking. I found myself kept in the dark for far too long, with no updates until the delivery partner finally reached out. Furthermore, the choice of cake flavors was restrictive; I wanted pink roses paired with a specific flavor, yet the only option was a pineapple cake. In frustration, I ended up ordering yellow roses with a chocolate cake. Overall, my experience with the app was unsatisfactory, and I couldn't shake the feeling that it was one of the worst applications I've encountered.

My encounter with IGP continued to decline from there. I was particularly distressed by the app's customer service and their seemingly unresponsive nature when I raised concerns about my orders. For the special occasion, I booked my item well in advance, even paying an extra membership fee for timely service, only to receive excuses and disconnections when I inquired about delays. My ordered items were reported delivered, yet neither my friend nor I received anything. In fact, the customer service team made matters worse by refusing to address my request for a cancellation or refund. On two separate occasions, my cakes were either delivered in the wrong weight or damaged in transit. And instead of assisting, their team would cut calls without a resolution. The entire experience was not just inconvenient; it was downright upsetting. They seemed to accept payments with ease but failed miserably when it came to delivering products or providing adequate customer support. IGP needs to fundamentally revisit their workflows and customer engagement strategies—if they continue on this path, they'll lose more clients to companies that value customer satisfaction.
