Gears logic puzzles Codes review

Fun game until you see the repeated mechanic of pixel perfection. Example: Starter #69, ring needs to reach top, right, and upper left gears. I needed to move the ring and two supporting small gears a few pixels to solve the puzzle. No visual indicator of Falling being active other than gears starting at floor. Layer is difficult at times to understand without enough of a tutorial before harder puzzles. Magnet requires fast reflexes. Overall OK to burn time but quirks can be frustrating.

This game is really good until you get to the small gear puzzles. There is great difficulty in positioning & moving the smaller gears into configuration because they are too small to view under your own finger. It becomes very frustrating trying to subtly move them without being able to view them. Otherwise the game is quite fun. -UPDATE-The game suffers from more control problems later on. I removed another star. It seems they like to utilize the whole screen several times even though it is quite easy to hit the shortcuts at the top that do things like add a gear (at the cost of a lower score) or the worst one that actually backs out of the current level. There is no warning screen asking you if you are sure with the latter and you immediately lose all current progress. It has happened more than a handful of times on multiple levels. Shame. -UPDATE- Removed another Star after repeatedly bad issues with gear manipulation. In fact I'm quite sure that it was developed this way on purpose to get you to watch the Ads to figure out the puzzle. Nearly every time, the puzzle was the way I had it but for some reason it would not complete until after the Hint is given. Also I've noticed the game preventing you from positioning some gears any other way other than the one it wants you to. This became especially evident when finally I couldn't place a gear in an open area because it kept registering that it was invalid despite nothing being in the way. I'm sure both faults are not oversights but designs rigged to make you watch Ads. I don't mind Ads but the infuriating amount of time that I waste before getting the Hint is unbearable.

Mildy entertaining, the levels aren't particularly challenging, i got through like 50 or 60 levels with only 2 of them being a challenge. On the technical side, itnwould be better if you didn't start with all the movable gears on the screen, but could place the available ones from a list or tray, so as ro avoid having to shuffle them around all the time. It would aslo be better if the screen/game board had a more obvious grid that rhe gears snapped too, and then build the puzzles around logic and efficiency instead of wasting time trying to move a gear half a mm so as to have it connect. Overall fun concept, could be built better though.
