Garage: Bad Dream Adventure Tier List
A surreal philosophical experience. I actually LOVE that there aren't 'hints'. It's well worth the $5 I paid for it as it's a lengthy game. I've discovered a few endings so far, but still have quite a couple of unreached achievements -- still trying to figure out how to unlock the water towers. I've found all crabs and rare crabs, and all frogs except for 10 rare frogs, and I'm pretty sure I know what each one will be. I do wish there were more than 2 game save slots, though.
I absolutely love this game. It is unlike anything else. A resuscitated Japanese horror game from 1999, it traps the player in a surreal waking nightmare. The visuals and character design are wonderfully ugly and difficult to look at; the environment is creepy, claustrophobic and filthy. Gameplay is an emotionally uncomfortable experience, like a good horror experience ought to be. Truly a unique game, and well worth the money. No weird permissions required. So glad this gem has been preserved.
It's a good game, played it for hours, and now I'm stuck. I mean idk what's the next step in the game. I thought there was a bug, but apparently, it's just a confusion stemming from the animation of opening a door, and the 'move forward' arrow bringing you right back where you were. Imagine moving towards a door, then after going through it, you close it and you're facing that door, so "forward" is actually back into that room that you just left. Hopefully I'll figure it out, I made it this far
