This game is simply amazing with the amount of depth put into such a simple model. Its tongue in cheek mirrors and spoofs real world game development history and the amount of control you get to place into your games. It can be a bit overwhelming with the amount of managing and balancing you need to do, but the in-game tutorial does a great job on keeping you on pace. My only gripe is it can be incredibly punishing for a wrong move earlier on.
Game Dev Story has all the things this game is missing except POC players and NPCs. It definitely needs more tutorials, explanations, as well as UI updates on managing skill level, game reports should be in the menu as a backlog, not generated individually everytime you need one. There needs to be a explanation (as well as added to the UI) on the correlation between bubble output, reviews, and ability to complete contracts since at the moment its all guess work and memory.
Mobile version is just as good as the PC version. I just want them to fix this 1 game breaking bug; very often if you are in piracy mode and you run low on money and have just released a game before you go into bankrupt range, you will get a message about receiving money and paying it back. You will click to accept the money, but get no money. Then you'll get a 2nd message about receiving money and then paying it back, but only with a small fee. You will recieve 1, but have to pay back both.
