Duskwood – Detective Story Review
This games story and features are really great! Incorporating real life elements is something I've never seen in a game, especially one you can play for free with very few ads. I loved this game. My only complaint is the fact that the puzzles sometimes get TOO hard and having no option but to solve them all in the end , that could be better. I almost quit. I read many people have quit and never saw the end BECAUSE of this. There should be a way to use upgrades or a way to skip levels.
Just played through the game An Elmwood Trail, and really enjoyed it. Was looking for something similar. However was disappointed to find THIS game requires mini games to move forward every few minutes, and it felt like in the text messages that were happening, no clues were being revealed and the plot was not being moved forward... disappointed and uninstalled after about an hour of pay, during which I played more match 3 than solved a mystery, lol.
The storyline is great and it's very easy to use HOWEVER I deducted a star because sometimes the puzzles are just frustrating beyond belief because you are unable to move while it fills in new squares but it gets so many matches and automatically uses special ones you were trying to move to use in specific spots and then multiple moves are wasted because it just goes off. The game is mostly fun but it can be so frustrating that I just want to scream until my throat bleeds lmao
