I really enjoy this game - the art style is unique, the find-the-differences games are challenging without being terrible, and the storyline is pretty cool too. I don't mind the ads because they only come up if I want the extra heart sooner, but if you don't want a 30 second ad, you only need 10 minutes for another heart. So far it's a great game and surprisingly keeps you coming back for the next levels.
It's a good concept for a game. But my problem is that you have you have to use diamonds to get other stories. Meaning its seems like a pay to play game. Also, i hate the miss tap and loss of time part of the game, it makes it difficult to enjoy a game that penalizes you for a miss tap by accident. It would be better if you reward time for tapping the right thing and got rid of the penalties of miss tapping.
Detective S is not a bad game, but I find it uninteresting. It's a detective game, which means an overwhelming amount of dialogue to cover what's happening. It's troubling to be invested due to the dialogue's repetitive nature. The action, which is a series of spot-the-difference puzzles, is also rather reptitive. I like the overarching plot about Detective S and having to use the clues to figure out the murderer at the end of a case, but going through one individual case feels painstaking. 2/5.
