Conquer the City: Tower War Review
Fun game, but the amount of ads, the number of times the game either forces you to watch an ad to win a level or prolly never pass that level, and the glitches that are happening more and more of after watching an ad the game goes black and then kicks me off. All those things are so annoying, that i really wanna give it a 1 star(technically maybe 1.5), but im being a bit generous with the 2.
Better than most skeezy app games. It has a great concept with little fluff. The UI is okay, nothing to write home about. Like most similar games, it's got an ad every level and the levels are short, so you'll need airplane mode to keep your sanity. Unlike some reviewers, I didn't feel like there were any levels that I absolutely had to use ad bonus power-ups on. I played 125 levels and only used a few power-ups, but at that point I noticed the levels had started to repeat themselves.
It was fun at first but then when you start buying stuff it went South. I thought that the Shields and swords options each would have a different power to make it easier to take over the towers. But they were just for looks which I didn't like that much. Then the only way to use the ice power to temporary freeze your enemies was to watch an ad. Which a lot of time after the ad ended the game would kick you out of the game and you had to redo the level.
