BUBBLE BOBBLE classic Review
PLEASE change the movement controls. I hate having to slide to move the character around. Please add a dedicated left and right button to move around, like most mobile games have. It would make the experience much smoother, thank you. Edit: also please extend the timelimit for each level, the controls are not conducive to playing through the levels in such a short time. The slide controls make it too hard to change direction and it's nearly impossible to bounce on the bubbles properly.
Great game! For both players new to the series and nostalgia seekers alike. The touch controlls are as good as touch controlls can be for platformers like these and the original screen mode keeps thumbs away from the action. For fullscreen, the controlls are low enough to stay out of the way. And this is the same great and timeless game. Simple to learn, simple to master but still offers a challenge for those who want to try and achieve top scores. Plus, all of that fake candy and icecream!
The major problem is the control for movement. Instead of it being two buttons, one for left and one for right, it's a slide bar that your thumb always starts in the center of. You have to touch your screen and then slide either direction to make it register. Why would you add an extra step like that? It should be just as the two action buttons are. Touch left; go left. Touch right; go right.
